Pediatric Eye Physicians
Welcome to Advocare Pediatric Eye Physicians
Advocare Pediatric Eye Physicians takes pride in delivering state-of-the-art medical and surgical ophthalmologic care tailored to infants, children, and teens. Eye disorders in children can differ greatly from those found in adults, and the examination and management of eye problems specific to children requires significant expertise. Our doctors are board certified ophthalmic surgeons trained in the nation's most prestigious medical centers, and view caring for the youngest of patients as a privilege. Repeatedly named by multiple regional and national publications as "Top Doctors," our physicians specialize in prescribing glasses and contact lenses to children. They are experts in the treatment of amblyopia (often referred to as "lazy" eye), strabismus (eye muscle misalignment), retinopathy of prematurity, pediatric cataracts and glaucoma, tear duct and eye lid disorders, and the diagnosis of eye problems that are associated with systemic medical conditions in children. Our physicians also treat double vision, eye disorders related to thyroid disease, and eye muscle problems in adults.
Committed to providing a nurturing and child friendly environment to meet the complete ophthalmic needs of your child, our physicians and staff deliver the highest level of ophthalmic care in a respectful and gentle manner to our young patients. We also offer a pediatric optical dispensary specializing in pediatric eyewear that is staffed by optical specialists who are trained to provide the optimal spectacle fit in children. In addition to our two offices serving the outpatient community, our doctors provide inpatient consultations at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, and St. Clare's Hospital.
